Bulldog & Big Dog Collectors
Some dogs snore louder than your uncle, take up two-thirds of the bed and still think they are lap dogs. If someone you love is devoted to a bulldog, a beagle, a spaniel or a spotted firehouse favorite, Limoges big dog boxes give them a gift with plenty of personality. Every box is hinged, hand-painted in France and tucked into a gift box before it ships. Better yet, it will never chew through the wrapping paper.
Dalmatians are the life of this party, popping out of doghouses, wearing slippers, sitting with a cat in a basket or curling up in a winter doghouse. Bulldogs lounge on plaid rugs, French bulldogs sit on green, and a boxer shows off his gloves. You may also meet King Charles spaniels in ruby and tricolor, a black cocker spaniel, beagles with a ball and German shepherds standing guard. A spaniel puppy with a ball and bowl looks ready for dinner. Every spot and wrinkle is painted by hand.
Collectors of bigger breeds often start with the dog who changed their life, then add the breeds they grew up with or dream of adopting. A row of these on the mantel looks like the best-behaved dog park in history. Pair each box with a framed photo of the real dog, or keep one on the desk where a wrinkly face can brighten a Monday. A Dalmatian box makes a fun thank-you for a firefighter, too. Tuck a dog-bone charm or a note from the dog inside before you wrap it.
